What Determines the Result?

Many factors influence the outcome, including:

• The equipment must be modern and certified to ensure safety and effectiveness.

• The age of the client, as younger and healthier individuals will see quicker recovery of hair follicles, while older or weaker bodies may take longer to achieve good results.

• Proper preparation for the procedure; hair should not be too long, as this can hinder the heating of the hair follicle.

Principle of the Procedure

The principle of diode laser operation is based on the effect of the laser beam on hair follicles during the anagen phase (active growth phase). Hair that is in the catagen and telogen stages at the time of the procedure is not affected by the energy, which highlights the need for a course of treatments for complete hair removal.

Duration of the Course

On average, a course consists of 8 to 12 procedures with intervals of 4 to 6 weeks, gradually increasing the range. Like any cosmetic procedure, laser hair removal requires maintenance treatments after completing the main course. Typically, follow-up procedures should be done once every six months to a year.

Laser hair removal does not increase the risk of developing skin cancer or any other organ-related issues. The light waves used in laser hair removal do not include UV radiation. The wavelengths are short enough not to harm the body's cells. The laser only targets the hair follicle and does not affect the surrounding skin, as it is activated solely by the dark pigment in the hair – melanin.

After the Procedure

✔ First Week:
Hair continues to grow as usual, with the same intensity and speed.

✔ Second Week:
At this stage, hair growth usually begins to slow down. The slowdown in hair growth becomes increasingly noticeable and prolonged after each procedure.

✔ Third Week:
Shedding begins. By the end of the third week, up to 20-30% of hair in the treated area may fall out. It is normal for hair to shed in "patches."

✔ Repeat the Procedure:
During the course, it is necessary to repeat the procedure approximately once a month. After completing the full course of laser hair removal (8-12 sessions), maintenance treatments will be required to sustain the results. The interval for maintenance treatments is determined by the technician based on the individual characteristics of each client.

✔ Hair Removal Between Procedures:
You can remove hair between procedures using a regular razor or trimmer.
Avoid using sugar/wax, epilators, or tweezers.
